Neil's Profile

Neil is a WHS Professional with over 20 years experience in the areas of Occupational/Work Health & Safety and WHS Training with a proven track record of developing, marketing and implementing pro-active WHS solutions resulting in positive change to culture and improvements to safety performance. He is a Certified Training and Development Professional and has extensive experience in providing Training and Development and Work Health and Safety services across a broad range of public and private enterprises.

Upon completion of his trade training as an Automotive Mechanical Engineer, Neil was enlisted into the Australian Military Forces. Following discharge, employment continued with the National Aeronautical Space Administration (NASA). Having become accustomed to very disciplined training from his service career and at NASA, it became apparent to Neil that there existed a need for WHS and training excellence in industry.

Neil currently specialises in the design and delivery of WHS training courseware including web based, interactive learning applications. He also provides customised consulting services in WHS issues; including Workplace Assessments and System Audits, implementing and facilitating WHS Management Systems and providing advice on legal compliance issues.

As a professional, Neil has an inquiring mind, a genuine interest in adult education, WHS and a commitment to the training and development of individual's safety in the workplace.

Neil has been recognised for outstanding contributions and meritous service to the recreational diving industry and awarded by his peers, both nationally and internationally, for developmental courses conducted.


As well as being admitted to the Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers (IAME), Neil was a Course Director with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) for 12 years and member for 16 years.
